The number of battery charges from powerbank depends also on the capacity of your phone battery. Phone battery can have capacity 3000mAh, 5000mAh, 7000mAh etc.

Powerbank with capacity 20000mAh can charge your phone 4 times, if battery capacity is not greater than 5000mAh.

To get an approximate estimate, you can simply divide powerbank's mAh by phone battery's mAh:
20000 / 5000 = 4

But please note that this result is approximate, because there are multiple factors affecting the charging, like:

• Usage of powerbank - intensively used powerbank doesn't work as well as the new one. There is a so called real powerbank capacity, which is decreasing.
• Weather - low temperatures have negative impact on batteries
• Usage of phone while charging - if you use your phone while charging, then more power is needed for a full charge.
• Energy loss - some percentage of energy is lost during the charging.

With 20000mAh powerbank, you can fully charge your 5000mAh battery 3 times. The fourth charging will probably not charge the battery to 100%.
