Apple AI features available for older iPhones? Supported devices

Is Apple AI going to be available also for older iPhone models, like iPhone 15, iPhone 14 or iPhone 13 ?

Are AI features going to be supported on older Apple devices ?

Apple Intelligence will be not available on most of the older iPhones, because of the hardware requirements.

The basic hardware requirement for Apple AI is to have at least the A17 Pro chip, which is included in iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max.

Apple AI can work on iPhone 15 Pro or on higher iPhone models. So, all the iPhone 16 models support Apple Intelligence.

You can use Apple AI also on some iPad tablets and MacBooks.

All the Apple intelligence features work on iPhone 15 Pro or on higher models. But some Apple AI features will maybe later work on older models.
