  • Rib-eye - also known as Scotch fillet
  • Tenderloin
  • Short loin
  • Sirloin
  • Rump
  • Flank


You may also come accross with steaks:

  • Porterhouse steak - is a cut from the rear end of the short loin. It contains two different cuts of meet, tenderloin and strip loin (is the part of short loin).
  • T-Bone steak - has strip loin on the long side and tenderloin on the smaller side. It is similar to porterhouse steak, but it contains less tenderloin. Some say, poterhouse steak is a t-bone steak, but t-bone steak is not a porterhouse steak.
