The price of mobile phones is decreasing quite quickly. It is mostly because of technological innovations, but there are also more factors decreasing the phone prices. You have to know how much you would like to pay and how long would you like to wait for a better price.

You can usually get phone for a better price after:

• Succeeding model is released
• Newer version of operating system is released - for example when Android 10 was released, not all the phones supported it.
• Bigger technological innovations are released - for example 5G network support, camera features and photo quality, fast charging, battery capacity etc.
• Random discount offers are announced - for example Black Friday.
• Christmas - on Christmas sale.

It is good to know what price do you expect, because when you wait too long, it is possible that phone will be sold out.

In case of some brands, the new smartphones may be cheaper when you pre-order them before they are released.
