Camera stabilization with tripod, grip and gimbal - difference

What is the difference between camera tripod, grip and gimbal ? Which one provide better video stabilization ?

The purpose of tripod, grip and gimbal is the same, stabilize the camera. Each of them provides a different level of stabilization.

Tripod is a portable stand. It provides a solid stabilization, but also a limited moving possibilities.

Grip is used to better hold the camera in hands. It offers more moving possibilities, but less stability.

Gimbal is also used to better hold the camera in hands, but it provides better stabilization. It is based on multiple axis, supported by electric motors. Gimbals improve image stabilization, but you need to charge their battery. They are usually quite expensive.
