The recommended temperature for washing of wool clothes is 30°C / 86°C. Wool clothes shrink a bit after the first washing, even if washed at 30°C / 86°C.

It is generally not recommended to wash wool clothes at more than 40°C / 104°F. I have washed a 100% wool sweater at 40°C / 104°F and it has shrunked from size M to size S.
