How to disable 30 minutes video recording limit on camera ?

Hi,
Many cameras available on EU market automatically stop recording video after 29:59 minute. Is it possible to disable this limit and record videos with duration more than 30 minutes ?

This depends on camera model. Some cameras have 29:59 minute recording limit, because of taxation. Cameras that can take videos longer than 29:59 are taxed more.

But some cameras may have a recording time limit to avoid overheating. In this case it is not recommended to remove the recording limit.
Video recording limit can be disabled or extended on many cameras. The way how to do it depends on camera model and brand, so it is not the same for all cameras.

To remove or extend the 30 minutes video recording limit, you often need to install some software and change the camera settings.

Please note that disabling or extending of the video recording limit is risky, because it will probably void the warranty of your camera and it may cause an overheating.
