Is better big or small camera lens ? Lens size difference

What is the difference between big and small camera lens ? Are bigger lenses better in comparison to smaller ones ?

Each lens size is suitable for a different usage. It doesn't mean that big lens is automatically better for you. Both big and small camera lenses are good, but they are used in different situations. So it depends on your needs.

• Small camera lens - focal length up to 35mm, is used to take a wide angle photos, when you need many things to be in the shot (or when taking photos from a small distance).
• Medium camera lens - focal length from 35mm to 85mm, is used to take a standard photos, from a medium distance.
• Large camera lens - focal length from 85mm, is used to take photos from a long distance or a close-up (macro) shots.
