Is Italian M size for clothes smaller than M size in US and UK ?

Is there a difference between clothes sizing in Italy and US / UK ?

Should I order a bigger size when ordering Italian brand clothing ?

Usually there is a difference between clothing sizes in Italy and US or UK. But the difference may depends on clothing brand.

In case of buying an italian branded clothes, you have to compare the sizes (dimensions) in inches or centimeters.

I am usually buying US M sized clothes. But the italian M sized clothes I bought are a bit smaller. So later I ordered the L size.
