Is there different minimum wage rate in each state in USA ?

Are there different minimum wages in every state in USA or is there a single minimum wage rate applied for all the states ?

The minimum wage is not the same in every state of USA. Many states have their own minimum wage. For example, the states with high minimum wage rate are California, New York and Washington. There is also a federal minimum wage. In case of states without own minimum wage, the federal minimum wage applies.
