Microsoft Teams meeting call - no video when using browser
When I choose to have a meeting call via Microsoft Teams in a web browser, I can't see the meeting members, but they can see me. Is the video not working always when using a web browser or do I have to enable it somehow ?
Choosing of Microsoft Teams web app is an easy option how to join the meeting, but it has its limitations. The functionality of Microsoft Teams web app depends on your web browser.
Some browsers support Microsoft Teams web app, but don't support some of the calling and meeting functions. This could be a reason why you can't see other meeting members during a video call. But you can try to go to the settings, to check if video is allowed.
To see a video during a meeting calls, you have to install Microsoft Teams desktop app. When you click on the link to join meeting, you should see an option to download and install MS Teams app.
I recommend use a desktop app, because it offers more functions than a browser app. The installation takes a couple of seconds, so it can be available very quickly.
