Short IBAN account number. Where to add zeros to IBAN ?

I have an IBAN of account where I should send money.

But the IBAN has only 18 characters.

It seems there are some zeros missing.

Where should I add zeros to make it correct ?

Should I add zeros after IBAN, to the right side or in the middle ?

You should not add any zeros or other numbers to IBAN. It is not recommended to do any changes in provided IBAN. If you are not sure if IBAN is correct, you have to check it with the person that provided it to you.

Please note that IBAN can contain a various number of characters. Depending on country the length of IBAN can be between 15 and 33 characters.

So the IBAN you received may be correct. The fact it has only 18 characters does not make it incorrect or useless.
