What fuel should I buy / put in my car ? Diesel or Petrol ?

How do I know if I have to put diesel or petrol fuel in my car ? I have a company car and I need to find out what fuel should I buy. Where can I get this type of information ?

There are more ways how to find out, what fuel should be put in the car:

• Technical documentation - type of fuel should be written in the car technical documentation, technical certificate or card
• Fuel filler opening lid - when you open it, there should be a sticker on the inside, with notification telling you to buy diesel or petrol
• Car model name - usually written on the back side of car, for example TD or TDI means, that car probably has a diesel engine
